Students from America on Study tour in Chamba, Himachal

Chamba: Westminster, Salt Lake City, Utah’s, Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business students with their associate professor for management and director practice/experience programme Stephen S Hurlbut, are in Chamba studying how farmers and orchardists sell their produce in the market.

A team visited Churah valley of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh and held a discussion with the self help groups of the different villages.

Associate professor Stephen S Hurlbut disclosed they have come to study that how in this backward district a project name Green Gold come in force and what are the results, he said that farmers are happy to produce flowers and off season vegitables. They now wish to have some more trainings to get seeds of peas they grow and some local unit where they can produce tomatto catchup etc.
