Shimla: Anil Kumar Khachi, Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Commissioner, today proclaimed that on 26th March, 2010 Rajya Sabha Election for a Seat will be held, which will be falling vacant on 2nd April, 2010, after the completion of Anand Sharma’s, the Member of Rajya Sabha, tenure.

9th March, 2010: Notification will be issued
16th March, 2010: Last date to file Nomination
19th March, 2010: Last date to withdraw candidature
6th March, 2010: Election to Rajya Sabha seat
