Shimla: Two women and a child died in an car accident, last evening, when the vehicle they were travelling in lost control and rolled into the valley at Ghati near Baghi in Shimla district, police informed.
The vehicle (HP-06-2543) was being driven by Krishan Negi (45), a resident of Molghi village in Rampur tehsil when it went off the road tumbling into the valley for about 500 meters before coming to a halt, said the police spokesman.
Negi who works as an principal at the government senior secondary school Baghi was on his way when the accident occurred.
The dead include Neerja (40), wife of Krishan, a ten year old son and his 75 year old mother in law.
Krishan who is greviouly injured has been admitted to IGMC hospital, here in Shimla and Madhur (7) his survived the accident.
