Shimla: A badly mauled body of a six year old boy, Tajil Mohammed was recovered about 4 kilometers away from his residing place in Barnol village at Jeori near Rampur, after a maneater leopard had picked him up for prey on Tuesday evening.
The boy was playing close to his house when he went missing last evening, police said. A search was conducted and the half eaten body of the boy was found 4 km away from the residing place, he added.
After conducting a post-mortem, the body was handed over to Yaar Mohammed, father of the boy, said AK Dhiman, ASP Shimla.
