Appreciating the balanced and investor friendly budget presented by Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chander Shekhar Gupta, Chairman, CII Himachal Pradesh State Council, said that this will definitely help in the sustainability of industry in the State.
He further highlighted the pleasing decisions like to provide continuous power supply to the industry in Himachal even in winters, the increase in the fund of BNDA by Rs 5 crore and relaxations on VAT from 12.5% to 4% on CFL, unbranded washing soaps and ghee are a very positive gesture of the State Government’s concern to provide better infrastructure including road connectivity, rail, housing etc to the industrial area of the region.
