Mandi: HIV- AIDS is an evil which is endangering the very existence of human race on this earth. Its a disease which has no cure. Prevention is the only cure. This disease can be prevented only by education about HIV-AIDS. With an objective of spreading awareness about HIV- AIDS, My Himachal and Centre for Sustainable Development(Censud) in association with Information, Education and Communication Bureau, Distt. Mandi organised a Poster and Slogan Writing Competition on HIV-AIDS at Govt. Senior Seconadary School, Sundernagar. 53 students from ten schools participated in this competition. Mass Education and Information Officer, Mandi N.R. Thakur educated them about HIV and ways to prevent it. Jitender Verma, President, CENSUD gave students a PP Presentation on HIV- AIDS. Winners will we given prizes in a separate function to be held on 1st December.
