The Horticulture Minister, Shri Narender Bragta announced that the state government would purchase cartons directly from prominent carton manufacturing companies in order to ensure good quality packing material that too at reasonable rates.
He further said that HPMC was being strengthened and modern facilities like modern packaging grading house, cold storage besides were being provided. The upgarding process has already begun with five packaging grading houses at Gumma, Rohru, Jadol-Tikkar, Odi and Patalikuhal, he added.
