Solan: Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister revealed that JP Group of companies had proposed to enter into partnership to take over the Vivekananda Memorial Research Centre Trust (VMRT) at Palampur.
CM informed that the company had offered to develop the center as a super speciality hospital, where quality and specialized treatment facilities would be available to the people. State Government had provided a vast chunk of land to the Trust on 99 years lease on token lease money of Rs. 1 per annum. He said that while taking final decision in the matter, all related aspects would be examined and interests of the people and State would be protected at all costs.
