JAWALAMUKHI: The Communist Party of India denounced the government’s decision to increase the power tariff in the state. It has demanded that any such decision should be revoked as it is anti-people. In a statement issued here today, Himal Chand, district secretary, CPI Kangra unit, said that the BJP had promised to take pro-people decisions.
He said that the BJP government was also ignoring the critical issue of unemployment and threatened that the CPI would mobilise the masses to fight against the Dhumal government for his anti-people policies. Chand further denounced the hike in the petrol and diesel prices.
