Former Minister annoyed with BJYM protest

Shimla: Bhatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers’ protest against Valentine’s Day in Dharamshala led to annoyance of former Himachal Pradesh Transport Minister and member AICC G.S.Bali, who said that it was unfortunate and painful to see BJP stooping so low to insult a woman who was heading the ruling UPA and whose family had not only contributed in the freedom struggle but also fought against terrorism in India.

The scene behind Bali’s fury was the BJYM worker wearing the mask of Afzal Guru who was presenting a rose to another worker wearing mask of AICC president Sonia Gandhi.

On this incident Bali has asked the Chief Minsiter, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, as well as state Bhartiya Janata Party Chief, Jai Ram Thakur, to discipline their workers so as to desist indulgment in such episodes in future.

  1. This seams to be very Good Move by the Labour Department, because it has been orally bluffing the masses by claiming 70% reservation for Himachlis, whereas no measure is taken to even cross check the figures with the industries, which shall be real shocking if the exact data is collected.
Still further it should also be looked that a minimum fixed percentage from the Salary and Wages Head of the Unit should be provided to the Himachali’s engaged, because mostly Himachali’s are hired in non-responsible or stop gap jobs and are highly underpaid as compaired to there Counterparts from other States.
