New Government Carries Out An Administrative Shakeup

Shimla: An administrative change was expected. Officials close to the previous government were bound to get cooling period postings.

The exercise was carried out today. As many as 13 IAS officers and 15 HAS officers were shifted at one go, government sources revealed.

V C Pharka (IAS), Principal Secretary General Administration, Parliamentary Affairs and SAD, (IAS) has been moved out and posted as Principal Secretary Administrative Reform Office),

B K Aggarwal (IAS), secretary to chief minister has been given the additional charge of Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs as well as Land Acquisition
Officer.

A J V Prasad (IAS), Divisional Commissioner Shimla Divisional Commissioner who is also the holding additional charge of Kangra Divisional Commissioner has been named as the Shimla Municipal Corporation Commissioner.

Ram Subhag Singh (IAS), who on return from central deputation was awaiting posting, has been named the new Managing Director of HP Tourism Development Corporation.

Nisha Singh (IAS), the Managing Director of HP State Small Scale Industries and Export Corporation Managing Director has been posted as Divisional Commissioner Shimla. She would also hold the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra and would continue to retain the charge of MD State Small Scale Industries and Export Corporation.

Sanjay Gupta (IAS) Managing Director General Industries Corporation would also hold additional charge of Managing Dircetor of HP State Industrial Development Corporation at Shimla, relieving Mr Anil Kumar Khachi (IAS) of this additional charges.

R D Dhiman (IAS), HPSEB member (administration) takes over as the state’s new Excise and Taxation Commissioner in place of SKBS Negi (IAS) whose new posting is to be announced later.

Diljeet Singh Dogra (IAS), who was appointed Secretary (Personnel), has also been given charge Secretary, GAD Parliamentary Affair and SAD. He would continue to hold additional charge of the Revenue Department.

Subhash Chand Ahluwalia (IAS) who was earlier the private secretary to chief minister Virbhadra Singh and currently held the post of Managing Director HP Tourism with additional charge of Director Tourism and Civil Aviation, has been posted as moved out as Kangra Settlement Officer at Dharamshala.

J S Rana (IAS) the Urban Development Director takes over as new Transport Director. He would also hold the additional charge of the post of Tourism and Civil Aviation Director.

Transport Director Rajesh Kumar (IAS) takes over as Developmental Enquiries Commissioner.

Mr Balbir Tegta (IAS), awaiting posting, has been named Urban Development Director.

Aruandeep Garg (IAS), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Baddi, Barotiwala and Nalagarh Development Authority has been named the new Solan Deputy Commissioner. He would also hold the additional charge of his present post.

Mohan Chauhan (HAS), Deputy Commissioner Solan takes over as Additional Director Higher Education.

Mrs Madhu Bala Sharma (HAS), awaiting posting, has been named the Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public of Public Administration Additional Director.

R N Batta (HAS) Special Secretary (Finance and Tourism) and LAD Examiner has been posted as Additional Registrar, Kangra Cooperative Societies at Dharamshala.

Subhash Chand Kalsotra (HAS, the Kangra Settlement Officer has been posted as Kangra Addditional Deputy Commissioner (Development) cum-Project Director (DRDA) at Dharamshala.

L R Chauhan, (HAS), the State Information Commissioner has been made the new HPSEB’s Land Acquisition Officer.

Rakesh Kumar Sharma (HAS), HPSEB Secretary has been posted as the new Land Acquisition Officer in Chamera Project at Karian in Chamba district in place of Ms Bhavneshwari Vohra (HAS), whose new posting would be announced later.

Ashok Sharma (HAS), the Higher Education Additional Director has been posted as Additional Director Elementary Education

Jai Sen Chauhan (HAS), presently Land Acquisition Officer, HPSEB, has been named new Additional Secretary (SAD) HP.

K D Lakhanpal (HAS) the Kangra Additional District Magistrate (Development)-cum-project Director (DRDA) takes over as Land Acquisition Officer, Parvati Project, in Kullu district.

M P Sood (HAS), presently Additional Director, Elementary Education, Himachal Pradesh, as Secretary, HPSEB, Shimla.

Rajesh Kumar (HAS), Additional District Magistrate, Pooh, District Kinnaur, take over as Secretary, HP Board of School Education at Dharmashala,

Sandeep Kumar (HAS), presently Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Rohroo in Shimla district, has been named as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Paonta, Sirmour district.

Amarnder Singh (HAS), presently Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Paonta, Sirmour district, takes over as Additional District Magistrate, Pooh, Kinnaur district.

Manohar Lal Sharma (HAS), presently Secretary, HP Board of Shool Education, Dharamshala, has been named as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Rohroo, Shimla district.

S C Pal (HAS), presently Additional Director, HIPA, Shimla has been named Joint Secretary, (Personnel) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh. He would also hold the additional charge of the post of Assistant Commissioner to Shimla Divisional Commissioner.

Man Singh (HAS), presently Joint Secretary (Personnel) and who is also holding the additional charge of Assistant Commissioner to Divisional Commissioner has been posted out and takes over as Sub Divisional Officer Churah in Chamba district.

Udey Singh Negi, HP Secretariat Service Officer has been made an Additional Secretary to Chief Minister
