KUMARHATTI: A man was run over by an unidentified speeding vehicle near Baddi today. Mahesh Dass (57) the deceased was crossing the road when a vehicle hit him. He was employed as a security guard in godown of Hindustan Lever Limited.
The vehicles’ driver fled past away from the spot after hitting Mahesh. Mahesh who has sustained serious head injuries was rushed to a Baddi based private hospital. He was declared brought dead at hospital.
The deceased hailed from Sulihaari village in Kangra district. A case has been registered.
