Himachal governor V.S. Kokje, stressed upon the importance of optimism in life and appealed the youth to adopt a positive attitude to progress ahead. He was speaking in State Level General Knowledge Competition Prize Distribution Function organized by Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad at Solan today.
Governor said India’s rich human resources and education should be meaningful and based on values.
Kokje paid tributes to Netaji Subhash Chander Bose, whose birth anniversary falls today and added that lives of great personalities like Netaji and Veer Sawarkar were an inspiration to youth.
Chetan Sharma of GSSS Mahunag, Sunil of JPSS Palampur and Sandeep Sharma of MSS Bhota, Hairmpur won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
