Shimla: Himachal Pradesh has won first prize among all the states in the State Government Organizations category in Electronics and Information Technology Exposition-2008 (ELITEX -2008) held on 17th and 18th January 2008 at New Delhi. It was revealed by a Spokesman of the Department of Information Technology.
Every year the ELITEX is organized by the Government of India, Department of Communications and Information Technology to highlight the achievements of States/ Other Organizations in the field of e-governance and IT industry, he said.
Raised in Shimla and originally from Mandi district, Disha wears many caps which includes being part of a lead team of a fast growing IT company based out of Chandigarh. Earlier Disha was associated with My Himachal and visits Shimla regularly.
