Lenovo enters Himachal


PC maker Lenovo, formerly IBM today annouced that they will establish a manufacturing plant in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh with a total investment of $11 million. Around 350 employees would be based in baddi and plant is going to be operational via third quarter of 2007.

Plant will be spread in four acres of land.

Plant would have manufacturing, product configuration, value added distribution and customers services, logistics and customer support and distribution of after market and visual products.
