12 persons died in a bus accident which took place at Salahar in Mandi district yesterday. 26 people are reported injured when the bus fell into a 200 feet gorge when driver lost control of the overcrowded private bus due to rain and thick fog.
Deputy Commissioner, Subhashish Panda visited the spot today and released Rs. 5000 each to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs. 3000 each to the injured persons as immediate relief.
