Himachal Cabinet switches to Hindi as an official language

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Cabinet switched over to Hindi language completely as it was directed to all the administrative secretaries to submit their Cabinet Agenda and allied documents in the Devnagri script.
P.K.Dhumal, the Chief Minister said that the state was committed to popularize the language especially in the official functioning so that maximum number of people could read and understand the correspondence conveniently. It would facilitate and simplify the official process making it in the interest of the state. He advised the heads of the department to adopt simple and common use Hindi in their official functioning to simplify the official procedure for the convenience of the people in general.
