Himachal CM dedicated library block of Ayurvedic College Paprola

paprola1.jpgHimachal CM dedicated the library block of Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Post Graduate Ayurveda College Paprola completed at a cost of Rs. 1.30 crore the people of the area today.Virbhadra Singh said that Shri Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Post Graduate Ayurveda College, Paprola was emerging as a center of par excellence in Ayurveda system of medicines in North India. He said that facilities to carry extensive research and practical training in both ayurveda and allopathic system of medicines. He said that sprawling and impressive complex was coming up in a time bound manner. He said that college would be in a position to carry advanced research in different modes of ayurveda since the State had over 1000 rose species of herbs which had most effective curative ingredients.

Chief Minister said that his Government had sanctioned a Govt. Degree College to Baijnath segment by taking over the private college under Govt. fold. He said that Rs. 5 crore would be spent over the construction of new college building well equipped to cater to the modern educational requirements of the students. He said that the building would be completed in a time bound manner. He further said that the local girls senior secondary school would be shifted to the old college complex to facilitate girls students in getting educational environment. He said that with the opening of the Govt College a long pending demand of the people of the area had been fulfilled. He added that quality education would be available to the students near to their homes.
