Opposition BJP here lamb blasted chief minister Virbhadra Singh for first having filed a false defamation case and then unilaterally withdrawing it.
“As chairman of the team that framed the Congress charge sheet, we had documented several issues of commission and omission done by the then BJP government, but by only taking up HPCA cases for investigation, the other issues were facing neglect,” said Bali.
“The defamation case against Arun Jaitely stands withdrawn,” Virbhadra told reporters on yesterday. He added that he did not wish to press the issue now that Jaitely is the country’s finance minister and the state government had to interact with the union ministry about important financial matters concerning the state.
