New Delhi, April 11 (IANS) A 25-year-old man threw acid at a priest and another man here when he was prevented from entering a temple, police said Thursday.
Priest Ravishankar and his friend Moolchand were sitting outside the temple when Ramesh threw acid at them in Nand Nagari in east Delhi, said a police officer.
The victims were being treated for burns at the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, police said.
“The victims advised Ramesh not to enter the temple in an inebriated state. At this he got furious and attacked them. A search is on nab Ramesh,” the officer said.
