New Delhi, April 3 (IANS) A class nine student committed suicide by hanging herself at her house here Tuesday evening, police said. She had fared poorly in her annual exams.
“Pinky, 14, was spotted by her mother, hanging from a ceiling fan at her house at Narela area in north Delhi,” said a police officer.
No suicide note was found. Her parents told police that she was depressed over her exam results since Saturday.
The body has been sent for a post-mortem, said an officer.
