Dharamsala : It is a unique chance for young cricketers in Himachal Pradesh to go up to the top level of Indian cricket as the BCCI is looking for raw bowling talent in the state , a BBCI official said .
The talent shall be picked up in the age group of 17 to 22 years in Dharamsala this weekend .
“This is a golden opportunity for all bowlers in the state to come and participate on Feb 18 and Feb 19 in Dharamsala ,†said Anurag Thakur , BCCI joint secretary.
He said former Indian coach and current director of the national cricket academy Sandip Patil and coaches Karsen Ghavri and Joginder Puri will be at the Dharamsala open bowling trials.
These trials are being conducted for both pacers and spinners to identify and groom new bowling talent in BCCI academies in Mumbai , Chennai and Mohali.
