Chinese map shows theft-prone spots

Beijing : Police in a Chinese city have brought out a map that pinpoints the spots where thieves strike on the Metro.

The map shows the spots where thieves operate along subway lines and on stations in Nanjing city and it was published to generate awareness, reported China Daily citing the Yangtze Evening Post.

The theft-prone spots in subway stations, including entrances, escalators, ticket barriers, resting areas and ticket vending machines, are shown on the map.

As many as 77 pickpocket cases have been cracked in Nanjing this year.
