Ms. Nandita Gupta, IAS of 2001 batch took over as the new Deputy Commissioner of Hamirpur. She succeeded R. Selvam, who was transferred to New Delhi as the Private Secretary to Union Minister of state for Home affairs.
Selvam remained in office as Deputy Commissioner for about fourths only.
