Himachal CM informed that Mr. P.Chidambaram, Union Finance Minister, would be launching the Aam Aadmi Bima Yojna for the nation from historical Ridge Maidan on 2nd October, the birth day of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, providing insurance cover to the common man.Virbhadra Singh said that best efforts would be made to create awareness amongst the masses about the benefits of the scheme so that the targeted group was benefitted. He said that all the concerned departments would work in close coordination to make the programme a grand success. Later CM also visited the venue of the function and took stock of the preparations made for the launching of the ambitious programme.
