Before Assembly Elections, 4 Day Himachal Legislative Session In August

Shimla: The Himachal cabinet, presided over by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, today decided to convene a four day monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha in August.

The cabinet approved recommending to the Governor to convene a four sitting session on 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th August.

With the current 5 year term of the Vidhan Sabha coming to an end, general assembly elections are scheduled to be held and an assembly of new members is due to elected before the end of the year.
