Manali: Two people were found dead with a country made pistol bullet wounds at a hotel room here in the early hours of the morning. A woman with injuries was also found in the room, who was rushed to the hospital and is reported to out of danger.
Witnesses to the incident claimed that after a late night dinner got over at a hotel in Shuru village, sounds of firing were heard in the hotel room in the early hours of the morning. The hotel staff on entering the room found two people lying in a pool of blood and there was also a woman in an injured condition in the room. The hotel operator informed the police, who have registered a case and begun investigations.
Sources said that one of the dead persons Rishab Saxena was the husband of the injured woman.
Deputy superintendent police Hem Raj Verma said that two women Ravleen Kaur Chawla and Ashneet Kaur, who are real sisters from Delhi, had taken a hotel on lease in the tourist township and had invited a friend name Sunny for the dinner party.
After the party, one of the women (Ravleen) was with her friend in the room, when her husband, who reached Manali from Delhi, allegedly caught his wife with Sunny in the hotel room. The enraged husband, after a scuffle, first shot the person at Sunny before pulling the trigger on himself.
When the police reached the spot, there were two persons with bullet injuries dead in the room. The police have also recovered two country made weapons from the room.
