Dharamshala: A survey by India Today magazine has listed the Dr RP Govt Medical College Tanda among the top 10 emerging medical colleges of the country.
Principal Tanda Medical College Dr Bhanu Awasthi said, “the priority that the state government is according to medical education and the efforts made by the college staff is beginning to show results. It is a matter of pride for the states health sector and the college that Dr. RP Govt Medical College, Tanda has been listed among top 10 emerging medical colleges as per a ranking by the India Today magazine, one of the top magazines of the country.
“Our college has been ranked at number 8 among new and emerging medical colleges set up after 2000,” Dr Awasthi.
Dr. Awasthi also congratulated the faculty, staff and students of the institute for their efforts in bringing laurels to the institute.
Dr Bhanu further informed that the survey was conducted by India Today in association with the reputed market research agency Marketing & Development Research Associates (MDRA).
