Kullu Police Nab Two Nigerians For Supply Of Heroin In Valley

Kullu: In a breakthrough on drug trade in the valley, the police here laid their hands on 2 Nigerian nationals based in Delhi, who are accused of supplying heroin in district.
Gaurav Singh, district police chief told the media that in over 30 cases in last 5 months police had recovered more than 500 gm heroin and have made 55 drugs related arrests in the valley.

Singh said that the police learnt about the link of some Nigerian nationals with the drug trade in the valley from local suppliers who were interrogated by the police here. After being tipped off, a police team headed by the inspector Sunil Sankhyan was sent to Delhi and they were successful in nabbing Ibrahim and Olisa, the two Nigerians accused of supplying contraband drugs in the district.
The district police chief disclosed that a case against them had been registered against the two accused at Kullu police station under the section of NDPS (Narcotics Drugs Psychotropic  Substances) Act.
