Dharamshala: Urban Development Housing and Town Planning Minister Ms Sarveen Chaudhary said that special efforts are being made to provide quality education to students in the state. New schemes have also been started in this direction.
“At present, there is a large network of educational institutions up to higher levels in the state. Effective efforts are being made to provide adequate staff in all educational institutions and the recruitment process of teachers is going on continuously. A provision of Rs 7598 crore has been made for education for current year,” said Minister
Ms Sarveen Chaudhary was speaking to media after attending the annual prize distribution function of Springdale Public School, Bandy near Dharamshala today.
She said in her address that annual functions of the educational institutions have special significance in schools. “Such events give students the opportunity to develop their sense of responsibility along with showcasing their talent,” said Minister. She said that the contribution of government schools as well as private schools in the development of education has been commendable in Himachal
