Manali: Twenty-four year Amardeel Singh, a resident of Mohali, who went paragliding at Solang Valley, 20 kms from here, died in a crash landing on Saturday.
Manali police said Amandeep Singh was killed when the pilot, Ranveer Singh, lost control of the paraglider, which lead to crash landing accident. Ranveer Singh, (32) the pilot of the glider who is from Barua village has been seriously wounded in the accident and is admitted at a local hospital.
Amardeep with a friend was on tourist visit to Kullu- Manali. Police officer Sher Singh Thakur said the family members of victim have been informed and the pilot was being treated. “A case under section 336, 304A IPC has been registered, he said.
Kullu Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri said police had registered a case, and that tourist’s body would be handed over to his family after autopsy.
