Dharamshala: Two dead bodies that of a woman and a boy were found today in Awa Khad, a rivulet, in Palampur sub Division of Kangra district, about 50 kms from here.
District police magistrate Sanjeev Gandhi said, “the bodies have been identified as that of Reetu, age 40, wife of Sansar Chand from village Samlehad and Sahil Dogra alias Goldy age 17, son of Sansar Chand.”
The two are suspected to have died due to drowning. The bodies have been sent for post mortem, said Gandhi.
According to the police, investigation into the deaths had been initiated. Suspicion of it be a case suicidal drowning because allegedly the family was under stress
“ The post mortem report is awaited,” said Gandhi.
