Dharamshala: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to make his maiden visit to Himachal Pradesh after assuming office more than two years ago on October 18, Ram Swaroop Sharma, the parliamentarian from Mandi disclosed.
Sharma declared before media persons that the Prime Minister on 18th October was scheduled to address two rallies, one at Mandi and the other at Nahan.
Sharma said that PM would also inaugurate the 800 Mw Kol Dam, 540 Mw III phase of Parvati Project and 412 Mw Rampur hydroelectric power project located in Mandi, Kullu and Shimla districts from the Paddal Ground in Mandi.
The political pundits are saying that these rallies are expected to trigger the political pace in Himachal as the state is scheduled to hold the assembly elections next year
