Dharamshala: Kangra was lashed with heavy rain on the intervening night of Tuesday-0Wednesday, where the gauge at Gaggal airport recorded 166 mm rain in 24 hours.
Palampur with 155 mm and Dharamshala with 123 mm rain were the second and third most wet places in the state.
Where Jogindernagar, also in Kangra district received 116 mm of rain, at most other place moderate to normal rainfall was reported over the last 24 hours.
Capital Shimla received 65 mm, Guler 61 mm, Baijnath 54 mm, Renuka 50 mm, Naina Devi 36 mm, Kumarsain 28 mm, Kotkhai 25 mm, Bharmaur 24 mm and Kasauli got 20 mm of rain.
The weatherman has forecast more rain and thundershowers till 2nd August.
