Manali: Police have arrested a hotel manager and two pimps, and rescued four girls under Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act after raiding an hotel premises on the intervening night of May 26 and 27, police officials disclosed.
Manali deputy superintendent of police Puneet Raghu said a police party headed by K.D.Sharma SHO Manali had raided a private hotel in Manali.
“Manager of the hotel and two other persons, identified as Praveen and Vipin, were arrested red-handed while supplying girls to customers,” said Raghu.
“Investigation was continuing and Manali Police would raid more hotels suspected of being involved in immoral trafficking,” he added.
