Delhi: Victim of a legal battle being waged between VCI Management Services and HP Cricket Association, much of the scenic Dharamshala cricket stadium had been lying locked up under orders of the HP High Court since 30th October 2014, but the country’s apex court yesterday permitted the cricket association to unlock and used the sporting facilities at the stadium.
VCI Management Services has dragged the sporting body to court for a sudden cancellation of a contract under which it was running associated facilities at the stadium.
However, the Supreme Court has debarred HPCA for handing out the sporting facilities, which include 17 star accommodation rooms, a restaurant, lobby, club, bar, gym, banquet hall and kitchen on contract again.
