By way of E-Avedan, one can submit an application for a house, flat or plot online and the earnest money can also be paid through an online transaction made by VISA/ master/debit or credit card or through net banking services. The platform is backed up by HDFC Bank online payment gateway.
This service would save time of the people as well as the department, said Virbhadra.
With increased urbanization there was a rising demand for housing and the online portal would facilitate HIMUDA in sorting out the applications without any delay. It would also speed up processing of applications that would be of great relief to the people, he added.
