Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy still campaigns as if he is still fishing for votes even though he isn’t or shouldn’t.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy left his wife and family for politics and he talks about women rights and upliftment.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy appoints his senior HRD minister whose credentials are at best ‘full of drama’ and wants to instill transparency all across India.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy appoints his junior HRD minister whose credentials are at best ‘full of forgeries’ and wants to instill transparency and accountability all across India.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy is busy rallying like-minded ex-patriates and not representatives of the government in foreign countries.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy fulfilled and revamped many of previous government’s initiatives, who prior to being in the ‘hot seat’ was completely against them and was fighting them tooth and nail. Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy who promised voters to clean Ganges as one of his top priorities if elected.
Enough said.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy who promised voters to bring back the ‘black money’ stashed away in Swiss banks within hundred days of his election who then sees supreme court burst their bubble.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy questioned unnecessary expenditures of the previous government and who has now sanctioned Z-Level security for self-proclaimed ‘God-man’ who doesn’t have a post in the cabinet (yet) and has tax evasion charges to answer for.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy whose ‘clean-India’ initiative has brought more dirt than cleanliness.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy was busy entertaining leader of another country while his soldiers were infringing on India’s territory.
Never mind that the leader of the largest democracy hasn’t shared anything with the rest of Indians on what he plans to do for the health care, our ailing infrastructure, or rising prices or even education.
Apart from all of this noise and silence, my and perhaps for many the only conciliation is that hey at least the guy with a fake looking beard isn’t the one leading the country. Because that would bring its own set of complications.
