Reliance Mobile Network Crashes In Himachal Pradesh

Shimla: Thousands of irate Reliance mobile users in Himachal Pradesh have been shut out as the network has not been operating for the last 24 hours.

“It has been so frustrating,” says Rajneesh Rana, one regular user of the network, “that I have had to use my friends phone to remain in touch with family and business associates.”

Close to the Reliance exchange office near SDA Office Complex, Kasumpati at Shimla, last evening there was major electrical tripping that caused a blackout in the nearby localities.

Pradeep Thakur, a orchard owner who was unaware about the breakdown in the network complained, “I have been trying to reach my relatives in interior of Kullu hills since last evening but have failed to break through the network logjam.” His relatives are subscribers to the Reliance network.

Efforts made by Hill Post to reach operations head of Reliance Communications for Himachal Pradesh Ashutosh Kashyap (Mobile: 9817020065; Fixed line 0177-3031328/29) failed. Despite making several attempts the calls for the fixed lines went unanswered and the mobile phone was switched off.

With there being no official communication when the mobile network would be up again, all the subscribers to the network are in the dark about when connectivity would be restored.

Reliance along with Airtel is the earliest mobile operator in Himachal Pradesh when a GSM network was launched in 1992. Since then it has been operating a CDMA network and only last winter had undertaken the job of laying cables for starting 4G Services in the city.

Very poor service among its competitors……..above all height is……….I have tried to contact customer care for 3 months continued, mailed my request on reliance website but they never responded…I was doing this because for last one year I have been deducted Rs 3 every week for some service which i never use or requested for…… I also send message for unsubscription but all in vail…issue is I cannot switch off my moblie (to port to other provider) or change number as the loss would be greater than this….but shame on Reliance such company….which have only cheated its customers since there father passed away…. big fraud of the country….down fall has began…..its running but doing such activities…………
