Everyone has heard of the majestic Himalayas creating magic on us. It represents the awe-inspiring power, beauty, and grandeur of nature. And visiting Himalayas can rarely be separated from the spiritual mind due to the close association of the Himalayas with mythology and ancient scriptures. What if it is combined with an adventurous trip with basic trekking and camping services ? Exciting, isn’t it ? So, those who are inclined towards this fun-filled spirituality, there is news.
National Adventure and Leadership School (NALS) has an adventure program for every age group between ages 8 to 80 with tailor made programs to cater to individual or group requirements. The minimum group strength for tailor made programs is 8 and maximum can go upto 40 depending on the terrain and logistics available.
Most programs are designed around core objectives – to give participants an insight into survival and leadership.
The NALS campus is located on the Kullu – Manali highway at Kalath in Himachal Pradesh.
While some programs e.g. ice climbing are pure adventures and give a high adrenalin experience, some other are purely for the spiritual oriented and majority of the programs are for people like us who take a mid-path. These high altitude expeditions and peak summit programs are generally planned in advance to provide for logistics and planning and to prepare the participants for the physical and mental challenges posed by such daunting tasks.
