New Delhi: Delhi Metro will run its services as usual on Independence Day Thursday, a spokesman said.
But the parking of vehicles will not be allowed in any metro station for 24 hours starting tomorrow afternoon.
The metro’s Yellow Line runs close to Red Fort, from where Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address the nation on Thursday.
The Central Industrial Security Force, which guards the metro stations, has deployed 400 additional personnel.
