Srinagar: Two security personnel were injured today in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district when guerrillas fired at a patrolling party.
“One jawan of the special operations group (SOG) of state police and a central reserve police force (CRPF) trooper were injured when militants fired at them while they were on way to Mandoora (Tral) village. The injured have been shifted to hospital.
“The militants, believed to be two to three in number, have been engaged in a gunfight which is going on,” a senior police officer told.
