Chennai, June 8 (IANS) Human resource services company Randstad India Saturday announced a change of guard at its helm with the appointment of Moorthy K. Uppaluri as its CEO in the place of incumbent managing director and chief executive officer E. Balaji.
In a statement issued here, Randstad India said Uppaluri will join as CEO in a week’s time.
“Uppaluri brings to Randstad India an impressive pedigree of leadership expertise. His 24-year international career includes key roles at General Electric and Microsoft, both in India and in the USA. Most recently Uppaluri was the global head and general manager of Microsoft Academic Programs at their corporate headquarters in Redmond, USA,” the statement said.
According to Randstad India, Balaji has decided to step down in pursuit of other career opportunities outside the organisation.
