Chennai, June 3 (IANS) Top seed Sriram Balaji survived a scare before overcoming young Neeraj Elangovan 6-1, 3-6, 6-1, in a first round match of the BR Adityan-GNC ITF Men’s Futures tennis tournament here Monday.
In another first round match, eighth seeded Karunuday Singh had to bring into play his experience to fend off talented left-hander P Saradhi Adavelly 6-3, 6-4.
