Syrian kids honoured for memorising Quran

Amman, June 16 (IANS/WAM) The UAE-Jordan camp for Syrian refugees organised a ceremony to honour Syrian children who memorised parts of the Holy Quran.

The ceremony was attended by Saif Ali Al Daheri, director general of the UAE camp in Jordan, the Jordanian women psychological support team, UAE Red Crescent Authority volunteers and guardians of the children.

Al Daheri commended the teachers for their efforts in helping the children memorise the Holy Quran in record time.
