New Delhi, June 27 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sushma Swaraj Thursday launched the first monthly magazine of party’s woman wing here.
Sushma Swaraj, who is leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, said a magazine plays a vital role in growth of an organization.
She said the magazine will dwell on the current issues and initiatives for empowerment of women in BJP-ruled states.
Sushma Swaraj said BJP was the first to raise demand for 33 percent reservation for women and said that the party wanted that “women safety year” should be observed.
The magazine “Hamari Behene (Our sisters)” is edited by BJP Mahila Morcha president Saroj Pande.
