New Delhi, June 12 (IANS) It was a clear, sunny morning in the capital Tuesday with the minimum temperature settling at 27.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the season. The Met Office has forecast light rainfall in the evening.
“The sky will be clear in the morning and it will turn partly cloudy towards afternoon. Thunder development or light rainfall is likely in some areas of the city later in the evening,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperatures will stay around 36 degrees Celsius, the IMD official added.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. stood at 72 percent.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature dipped six notches below average at 32.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled a notch above average at 29.2 degrees Celsius.
