New Delhi, June 3 (IANS) Asking students to contribute to their roots, Culture Minister Chandresh Kumari Katoch Monday said there was ample scope for innovation and entrepreneurship in the culture sector.

Addressing the 10th convocation ceremony of the National Museum Institute of History and Art Conservation and Museology here, Katoch said: “The way our country is evolving, opportunities will continuously expand.”

Katoch said “students have to act in the spirit of trusteeship and contribute substantially to their roots”.

Speaking at the convocation, Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor said heritage tourism must be developed and recognised as an organised industry.
