Lucknow, June 3 (IANS) For three days now, the weather in Lucknow and neighbouring areas has been pleasant. With overcast skies and heavy rain Sunday evening, temperatures dropped considerably Monday.
Weathermen say the pleasant weather will continue till Tuesday.
The local Met office said morning temperature Monday was around 23 degrees Celsius, and the maximum day temperatures were likely to be at around 35 degrees, 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.
“The weather is going to continue like this today, with some rains in some places of the state,” a meteorological department official told IANS.
Owing to the pleasant weather, demand for power has come down in the last two days, power officials said, adding that rostering schedules were cut because of slightly shrunken demand.
