Kiev, June 13 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Customs officials at Kiev’s international airport have seized 15 rare monkeys, Ukraine’s ministry for revenue and duties said.
The officers found the endangered animals hidden in two suitcases belonging to a Syrian national, who has permanent residence in Ukraine.
The monkeys will be taken care of by local veterinarians.
